Prior to moving into midwifery education six years ago, she has had over twenty years extensive clinical midwifery experience in Canada, The Netherlands, Dublin and Galway. Her MSc specialised in midwifery education and her research interests include, midwifery education, midwifery led care/units, health promotion, nutrition in pregnancy and women’s experience of maternity care.
