In Hovis Hearty Oats, 50% of the wheat flour usually used in bread has been replaced by Oats and provides a quick and tasty way to get 1/3 of the daily recommended intake of beta-glucan to help maintain healthy levels of cholesterol.25-05-2010

It took Hovis two years to create its oat packed ‘Hearty Oats’ which is a delicious, textured bread, perfect for toast or sandwiches. Hovis Hearty Oats is also approved by the UK’s cholesterol charity HEART UK.

Product will hit supermarket shelves from May 2010 (RRP £1.34 with a launch price of just £0.85p).
