BMI linked to wheezing and eczema risk in childhood


www.grub4life.com today reports that results from a UK study show that young children who are overweight are at increased risk for wheezing and eczema. 28-08-2010

Writing in the journal Clinical and Experimental Allergy, researchers from the University of Manchester explain that the increase in prevalence of allergic diseases in recent decades has occurred in parallel with a significant rise in obesity levels, suggesting a possible association.
