South Korea to restrict junk food ads on TV
South Korea will ban junk food advertisements on television during children's prime viewing times in an effort to help prevent child obesity. 04-02-2010
The government endorsed a bill in a cabinet meeting early Tuesday that prohibits TV advertising for high-calorie, low-nutrition foods for two hours, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs said.
