Chocolate and Meusli Krispie square
Ingredients : Makes 15 squares 150g (5oz) muesli 50g (2oz) Rice Krispies 50g (2oz) dried apricots – chopped or raisins 100g (4oz) butter or margarine 4 tbls golden syrup 50g (2oz) plain chocolate- broken into small pieces Method 1. Combine the muesli, rice krispies and dried fruit. 2. Gently melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the chocolate pieces and stir until melted. 3. Add the syrup, and chocolate mixture to the dry ingredients. 4. Press the mix into a greased 20cm (8inch) square shallow tin. 5. Place in the fridge until cool and set. 6. Cut into 15 squares.
